John studied architecture at Liverpool John Moore’s University and shortly after qualifying as a chartered Architect worked on a new award winning solar energy Primary School and several prestigious education and housing projects. After ten years working in Local Government in the south east John set up the Sheridan Design Practice and worked on a wide variety of projects from hospital theatres to historic buildings in Kent and the surrounding areas. After 12 years John set up an Engineering Department allowing the practice to offer a truly comprehensive service to clients including architecture, structural engineering, party wall surveying, CDM coordination and site waste management plans services. John believes that client satisfaction is of the utmost importance he is very experienced in turning an idea into a reality.

Jane studied Maths at The Open University and after discovering a passion for numbers went on to study Civil Engineering and graduated with a first class honours from Greenwich University in 1993 becoming a chartered civil engineer, specialising in structural engineering in 1997. She worked for a London based practice, Whitby Bird and Partners (now Ramboll) for several years where she was involved in a number of high profile projects. She became Engineering director of Sheridan Design in 2001, and continues to enjoy the challenges the practice brings.
