Chartered Architecture and Engineering

The practice is now situated in Shottenden mid-way between Canterbury, Ashford and Faversham in a converted church. Jane Sheridan is a chartered engineer and John Sheridan a chartered architect providing a ‘one stop shop’ for clients.

Sheridan Design has evolved from its inception in 1989 from a Sole Trader to a Limited Company and finally to a Partnership in 2015. We have completed projects in all building categories from smaller extensions, refurbishments and restorations of Listed Buildings to larger residential, industrial, commercial, education and healthcare projects carrying out works all over the south east.

We now carry out architectural and engineering services for mainly smaller residential projects including barn restoration, new houses, dwelling extensions and historic building alteration works in Kent. The practice provides a fully coordinated building project solution and can also provide 3D modelling when required. All work is carried out by fully qualified staff with many years of experience and knowledge. We provide a free quotation and initial consultation. Our team is skilled in working with experienced or first time clients, providing guidance when needed through the design, planning and building regulation stages with expertise and care. The practice is fully indemnified and we are members of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
